Photo of Dr. Anthony L. Tuzzolino Dr. Anthony L. Tuzzolino is a Senior Scientist at the Laboratory for Astrophysics and Space Research (LASR) of the Enrico Fermi Institute at the University of Chicago. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1957 and has been at the University of Chicago for the past 40 years. His research interests for the past 15 years have focused on the development of instrumentation for dust particle measurements in space. Currently, he is a PI at the University of Chicago for the DUST FLUX MONITOR INSTRUMENT (DFMI) for the STARDUST Mission, PI for the SPACE DUST EXPERIMENT (SPADUS) to be launched in Earth orbit in 1998, and Co-I on the COSMIC DUST ANALYZER (E. Grun, P.I.) on the Cassini Spacecraft to Saturn.
